Paul Fenton
President & CEO
Paul Fenton holds a degree in management from London Metropolitan University as well as an MBA in Technology Management from the Université du Québec à Montréal.
Paul has significant industry experience at a senior management level in the development, deployment and management of computerized systems for use in regulated clinical trials. He co-founded Montrium in 2005. He has worked on major clinical technology projects both in Europe and North America and has a strong background in CDISC and ICH standards as well as in the integration of systems and processes for clinical trials. He is a regular speaker at industry events and is actively involved in several projects for the development of clinical research standards and platforms.
Tevin Pathareddy
Vice President – Technology
Tevin Pathareddy holds a degree in Computer Engineering from McGill University as well as a Masters in Aerospace Engineering from Concordia University. Tevin has over 14 years of experience in the design, implementation and validation of systems within regulated industries such as aerospace, pharmaceuticals and local government.
Throughout these years, Tevin has developed a strong background in industry systems and standards and frequently applies this knowledge to integrate processes, technology and people. Tevin has worked with end-user groups from diverse regulated industries and regulatory agencies with strong emphasis on the synthesis and transformation of business user requirements into technological solutions. He joined the Montrium team in 2007 and in addition to managing EDMS implementation teams, has also leveraged his technical expertise and experience in regulated applications to lead the development and implementation of the Montrium’s SharePoint based solutions for the life sciences.
Michael Zwetkow
Vice President – Professional Services & Alliances
Michael Zwetkow has over 17 years industry experience and currently heads up the Professional Services group at Montrium. Michael graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He has worked across the globe with some of the larger pharmaceutical companies, as well as numerous medium and smaller sized biotech companies.
Michael has extensive validation experience, which includes validation of manufacturing processes, equipment, facilities, and computerized systems. Over the years he has gained experience with the implementation of technological solutions to support the clinical trial process, such as, EDMS, eCTD and CTMS. He has also developed a solid understanding of the regulations which apply to the pharmaceutical, biotech and device industries. As a Microsoft Certified IT Professional, he has used his knowledge of Microsoft products to participate in the development of Montrium’s SharePoint based solutions for Document, Quality and Systems Management.
Christian Poulin
Senior Director, Operations
Christian Poulin has over 14 years of industry experience within very dynamic and innovative organisations. He holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from the Université de Sherbrooke and a Bachelor of Law degree from the Université de Montréal.
Christian joined Montrium at the beginning of 2014 after 8 years of collaboration with numerous members of the team with the intent to bring all of the acquired knowledge to help other Life Science organizations to successfully implement cloud-based solutions.
Recognized for his ability to develop a strategic vision aligned with corporate objectives, Christian heads the department of product delivery and support. He advocates a very committed approach to delivering solutions and he distinguishes himself with a results-oriented leadership as well as an energetic style of communication open to others.
Oliver Pearce
Director of Commercialization
Oliver leads Montrium’s Commercialization team and is a seasoned professional in the Marketing and Sales field with 6 years of experience in the life sciences industry. He leverages core competencies in sales development, growth strategy, and customer success to drive business and tailor Montrium solutions and services to each client. Oliver contributes to Montrium’s blog and writes on a range of topics that tie in his passion for technology, business transformation, and his deep understanding of regulatory requirements.
Mihai Popa
Director of Product Architecture
Mihai Popa is the Director of Product Architecture at Montrium. He holds a degree in Computer Engineering from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
A passionate and demanding professional, Mihai has over 12 years of experience in the design and implementation of integrated technological solutions. From his early career start as a CAD engineer in the semi-conductor industry to his current role at Montrium, Mihai has proven himself to be a resourceful and innovative problem solver, continuously striving to attain design excellence and instill the same in others.
Mihai joined Montrium in 2009 and spearheaded the conceptualization and implementation of modular, SharePoint-based process elements. This focus area continues to fuel Montrium’s growing ambitions in providing integrated, configurable workspaces to the life sciences industry.
Gianna De Rubertis
Director of Professional Services
Gianna De Rubertis holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from McGill University as well as a Master of Applied Science degree from the University of Toronto.
Gianna joined the Montrium team in 2008 with over 8 years of experience in the life sciences industry. Gianna has extensive validation experience, which includes of validation of manufacturing equipment, utilities, and computerized systems (including ERP, EDMS, and CTMS). Gianna has also developed a solid understanding of the various regulations which apply to the pharmaceutical, biotech and device industries.
Gianna currently manages the Professional Services team and is responsible for in-house verification projects as well as validation services provided to external clients.
Stephanie Tanguay
Director of Quality Assurance
Stephanie holds a degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering from the Université du Québec à Montréal.
Stephanie has extensive experience in software quality control, computerized system validation and implementation of quality management systems for biotech and data management organizations. She has worked in industry for the last 20 years.
Stephanie has been managing Montrium’s quality assurance department for the past 10 years providing insight into industry regulations and best practises. Stephanie provides Montrium’s clients with quality assurance services including system oversight, procedure and policy development.
Louis-Phillipe Lavoie
Director of Product
As Montrium’s Director of Product, Louis follows his passions in continuous improvement, innovation, and designing & delivering new product solutions. With more than 20 years of experience working in technology, he leads the Product Development team to deliver regulated and compliant content software. Each day, Louis works internally and externally with Montrium’s life science customers and stakeholders to acquire feedback and develop solutions that increase team productivity and efficiency. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and an MSc in Bioinformatics from l’Université de Montréal.

Platform Manager
Sam is an experienced IT professional specializing in products that meet demanding industry GxP standards including 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, and GAMP. As Platform Manager, Sam leads a growing technical team which manages the deployment and on-going operations of Montrium’s products, ensuring that all technical and procedural controls are in place to maintain systems in a compliant and secure state. He has extensive skills in Microsoft products including SharePoint and Azure technologies, cloud infrastructure and digital signatures. With a strong focus on security and risk management, Sam helps manage Montrium’s validated & collaborative technology products to maintain availability and security targets.
Christina Mantzioros
Director of Customer Experience
With a mandate to bridge the gap between clinical research, technical development, and business applications, Christina plays a vital role as Montrium’s Director of Customer Experience. With over five years experience working in project management roles in clinical operations departments at both academic and clinical research organizations, Christina provides the Montrium team with essential insights into how clinical professionals use our products and platforms. Highly engaged with the life science industry and an expert on clinical and regulatory best practices, Christina regularly contributes to industry conferences, company webinars as well as the Montrium blog. A jill-of-all-trades, she holds an MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences, a BSc in Anatomy & Cell Biology and is working towards a certificate in Software Development.
